is taking showers really harmful?
i'm not supposed to take anymore 30 minute showers because the supervisor (of the assisted living program that i'm in) claims that the water pressure when i take a shower for 30 minutes is unhealthy for me. right. i'm sure that she's just making that up because she couldn't figure out any other way to cut back on my shower time. taking a shower relaxes me, i lose track of the time that i'm in the shower when i'm in the shower. i've always taken long showers, even when i wasn't in a wheelchair. i want a doctor to tell me personally that 30 minute showers are harmful. i bet that when i tell my grandma about her saying that she's not allowing 30 minute showers, she'll probably agree and say that i shouldn't make a big deal about it because she doesn't see why my brother takes long showers either. i could look at it this way- at least i'm getting a shower everyday which is unlike i used to get when i was first living here and i had to get the people at pool therapy make the assisted living program make sure that i would get a shower every day because i remember it got so bad that my hair would just get greasy, so the people at pool therapy went to the assisted living program and raised hell threatening to tell the state.
